Cal Talaia offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in the heart of Els Comalats, a region unknown even to many Catalans—the “black hole” of Catalonia, as we like to call it.

Perhaps that is why the villages have preserved their original character intact. There are no housing developments or industrial estates here—only the passage of time. Everything is built of stone, as it has been for centuries: the houses, the terraces, the springs, the walls. Stone holds everything together; it tells the whole story.
